The play room is finally re-cured! I was avoiding re-arranging due to the addition of the dreaded gigantic entertainment center that had to be moved to this room after we got the flat screen in the living room- but actually it turned out quite good I think. The entertainment center now serves as storage for books, art and craft supplies, the old printer and tv, and displays some vases, pictures, and serving trays. By using it on the side wall, it isn't the focus of the room, which really helps and makes it look not so huge. The chaise got shifted against the french doors, which provide great reading light, and I hung my newly acquired artwork. I also hung my new Hedda curtains from Ikea...I'm still trying to decide if I like them here (which is why they haven't been hemmed or ironed). They definitely add a lot of color to the room, but they are also a lot heavier than the previous curtains. The desk is now much clearer, since many of the supply storage boxes now live on the entertainment center. They wall cubes that formerly held books now display pretty boxes, journals, and yarn and colored pencils in glass jars...

Binth Matching Game in black, white, and yellow...I may have to have this. I got so excited when I saw these Felted Gadget Cases, just what I'm looking for for my new ipod touch...but the price is a bit much. Has anybody seen anything similar?

Tea Bowl + Candy Bowl with awesomely textured outsides and delicately painted insides would be great to hold jewelry

The other day th bf wanted to know why we didn't have a lemon juicer...this one would do the trick. It's beautiful + functional = and thus perfect. And of course black and white vases are always welcome.

4 Project Runway {7 + 8}

This weeks challenge was one of the best one's ever...and it became even clearer which designers deserve to be in the top. Working in teams, the designers created an avante-guard design inspired by their model's hair style and then an everyday outfit that embodied the characteristics of the avante-guard design. How real world!

Chris and Christian {the winners} and Jillian and Victorya created absolutely stunning designs {although in both cases their everyday wear could have been a bit better, but they both obviously focused on the avante-guard} Rami {who has been slipping a bit the last two weeks} and Sweet P didn't push the envelope enough with their high-end design, but the everyday dress was perfect...

I thought for sure crying Ricky would finally get the boot, but it was Kit instead. That guy must have some good dirt on someone, because he has deserved to go for weeks.

Episode 7 was a boring prom dress competition. My favorite outfit was Heidi Klum's black dress- I love the neck detail. But Victorya's winning design was cute and age appropriate {which seemed to have been the main objective of the challenge.}
