0 Project Runway {Episode 11}

This weeks challenged determined who will go to fashion week...well kinda. The challenge was good: a trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to view classic art as inspiration for an outfit of the designer's choice. The results were interesting, but not their best design- all typical of the designs they have been producing the whole show. {Although I do think this shows a difference between the season and last season- these designers have a clear point of view, which speaks to their experience and design levels}

Christian easily won with his design, followed by Jillian. Sweet P was kicked off {I don't think this was much of a surprise.} The twist came with Chris and Rami...who will both design collections, show their top looks to the judges, who will then decide who gets to present at Fashion Week...



Now, the interesting part is New York Fashion Week has already happened, and according to some research it appears that all five of these designers presented....{Victoria Beckham is the guest judge} So we will see what happens on the show...

I did read brief descriptions of the collections, but I am going to resist searching for images...I don't want to spoil it...

2 Old Navy Fab Finds

Old Navy is not in my normal shopping repertoire, but I noticed my friend Kelli has quite a few very cute Old Navy items...so I decided to check it out last weekend and I was quite impressed. I picked up a Black and White Print Scarf, Yellow and White Print PJ Pants, and a zip bag in this pattern...I also love the Rope Handled Totes {but I resisted}

I didn't see these scarves, but I might have to hunt them down...

Also if you have a little girl, they have some rediculously adorable dresses {with pockets, because we know I'm a sucker for dresses with pockets} I picked some up for an adorable soon-to-be two year old known as Lulu...

1 Project Runway {Episodes 9 &10}

After the fantastic challenge/results of Episode 8, the last two have been a bit lackluster. The Levi's challenge in Episode 9 did produce some very wearable outfits...

Um I don't think we can say the same for Episode 10...now I'm not exactly a prude, but I decided I just can't put up the images of those stripper outfits on my blog...I'm not really sure what the producers were thinking with this one...if you want to see them go here...

Now the good news is: cry baby Ricky and his wacko hats are finally gone!

I really can't decide who is going to go to the finals...and are they going to go on a trip for the next challenge? Haven't all the others gone somewhere, maybe I'm wrong...we'll find out on Wednesday...

4 Coffee Table Search

Ok, I've mentioned before that I am searching for the perfect new coffee table...Well I just found it in Stephanie's fabulous living room on Apartment Therapy...



She had it custom made at Room Service? Now looking at their prices, I can tell this is going to be out of my budget...has anyone seen anything similar anywhere???
