0 Meet My Newest Advertiser: Domestica

I'm so happy to welcome back Domestica!

Domestica's focus is super cool home and personal accessories - valuable pieces to help you spruce up your nest and adorn your bod.  I think I have mentioned before that I think Domestica's logo is completely fantastic...as is the shop, filled with a fantastic selection of awesome items.

I'm very excited to have this great shop back advertising on {Black.White.Yellow.}, so be sure to check them out!

3 Desk Accessories from Poppin

So, I saw these desk accessories from Poppin on Design Milk the other day...and I might have immediately ordered a yellow tape dispenser and stapler and black and white ruler.

PS. You can shop by color. Love this shop.

3 Dwell Studio Trellis

Thanks to becoming re-obsessed with Pinterest, and not sleeping, thus having hours to scour every inch of the site...I have realized why I can't commit to ordering Dwell Studio's Trellis in Dove grey:  Because I want it in black and white.

Dwell Studio: Have any thoughts of bringing this back in black and white? Or have any old stock hanging around that you might want to sell me?
Readers:  Anyone have a gently used duvet and/or pillowcases they want to sell to me? PLEASE!?

2 New Art

I'm in the market for some new affordable art. I ordered these two prints from Mammoth Collection yesterday that I'm super excited about!

I'll be honest, although I love them and what they are doing, I get a little frustrated with the shipping costs of many of the affordable art sites (like 20x200 and Little Paper Planes).  It's probably totally justifiable on their end, but often causes me to second guess my purchases.  BUT, right now Mammoth Collection is offering 25% off every print in their collection using the discount code "FATHERSDAY"...more than makes up for shipping costs.  Thanks Mammoth Collection!

Anyone have any other art suggestions for me, and/or discount shipping codes!?

And I'm slightly obsessed. This shop is fantastic.

0 Magpie and Rye

Really good things from Magpie and Rye.  If I didn't already have an ipad cover that I really liked, I would definitely buy that one.

0 This Morning I'm Loving...

Terrain's Vintage Iron & Wood Sawhorse Table...everything in this shop is fantastic.  This table is a tad on the rustic side for me, but I think its lines are clean enough that it would compliment a variety of styles...

The table is expensive, but Terrain has some very affordable fantastic items too, like this Weck Juice Jar Set {4 for $24}, a Chalkboard Jam Pot {$18}, Perfectly Pickled Jar {$8},

3 Pedlars = Awesome

I should do a word count on the number times I use the word awesome on this blog.  I say it a lot in real life too.  In fact, I talk pretty much just like I write, short and to the point...except sometimes I get off track and mumble on and on...um anyway.

This store Pedlars is awesome.  These vintage yellow warehouse lights are awesome, that turquoise bakelite thermometer is awesome, those canteen utility chairs are awesome, and so is this sleeping bag.

If I ever won the lottery I would clean this place out.

Found thanks to the awesome Black Eiffel.

1 Modern Twist Placemats

I purchased one of these placemats {the orgiami one on the left} a while ago. I completely love it, but I didn't really know anything about it.  So I was super excited to see this post on Design*Sponge last week about Modern Twist and some of their upcoming designs.  I may have to have a few of the Kyoto pattern when they come out.

Although I don't eat on mine, I do set my drinks {both hot and cold} on it all the time, and it has really held up well.  Also, they feel really cool...all rubbery like.

4 Nature Inspired Jewelry Styling at Anthropologie

I was totally smitten with the way that Anthropologie styled the jewelry in their March catalogue. Their style group Carried Away features their latest accessories in nature inspired scenes. Does anyone know who the stylist was? {I've put in a request for information from Anthropologie- we will see if they respond.}

2 Fabulous Consumerism Fantastic Finds

You may have noticed that it has been a while since I have showed you things that I have purchased...that is because for the most part I haven't purchased anything in a while...which I am quite proud of, but today I made an exception for our special shopping trip for Brit's birthday adventure. {Also my birthday is coming up soon, so I decided I could get myself a couple of presents.} Anyway enough with the explanations, this is what I got:

+ Remember these little numbered canisters from Anthropologie?  Well, when I move to my new apartment, Brit and Ash got me three of them as a gift...today I completed my collection.  I also got a set of adorable hair clips and my total bill was $20. Seriously...

+ I saw this Wooden Planks Jewelry Stand online a couple of weeks ago and thought it looked interesting, but when I saw it in person in the clearance area at Urban Outfitters I was intrigued.  Although it says it is a jewelry stand, I see it as an alernative Christmas Tree...perhaps one that can be displayed year round to show off some of my non-christmas ornaments!? It may need a little bit of modification....more to come on that later.

+ I also got a Nico Skirt from J Crew in faded black.  I have been eyeing this for a while.  I am so tired of wearing jeans and boots and coats...I am ready for some shorter skirts for spring.  They only had one of these skirts in the sale section and it happened to be the exact color I wanted and in my size! Fate!

So a very sucessful shopping day filled with laughter and fun...check, check, check!
