1 Meet My Newest Advertiser: Dolan Geiman

I'm very excited to introduce my newest advertisers: Dolan Geiman.

Dolan Geiman is a nationally recognized mixed media artist creating original paintings, collages, constructions, and limited-edition reproductions. Produced from salvaged wood, found objects, and other recycled materials, Geiman's eco-friendly artwork emerges from a folk art tradition infused with a contemporary, urban style. Originally from Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, Geiman currently lives and works in Chicago along with wife and business partner Ali Marie Geiman.

I think Dolan is extremely talented, and Ali Marie has been a pleasure to work with... And can we talk about these whales!? I'm completely in love.

6 Whittled Whale

This great whale is from Ready for the House. And I love it.

I quote: "Weekend whittling, clear grain Douglas Fir."

Shall I add whittle a whale to my life to do list? I don't know, I'm really phobic about cutting myself...hmmm. Maybe I need a boyfriend who can whittle...I'll add that to my required boyfriend characteristics.

and one EXTREMELY fantastic hand stitched whale. I cannot tell you how much I love this and how loved I feel every time I see it...thank you Brit and Ash...

1 Whale Water Bottle

Yesterday I ordered this water bottle from Fred Flare. How could I resist? It has a whale...with teeth!

Anyway, I really hope I can drink from it, sometimes the metal taste bothers me. But I have decided that once I move I can no longer buy bottled water, I just go through too much of it and I hate the idea of what I am doing to the planet. Maybe the adorableness factor will keep me on track.
