3 Holiday Break

You may have noticed things are a little slow around here lately.  I am incredibly thankful for my new job and the opportunities that it presents, but that also means I have less time for the blog.  I am hoping that I will be able to get back on track soon, as I have been balancing the blog and a full time architecture job for 3.5 years now. I just need a little time to adjust and regroup.  So, I've decided to take a tiny break this week to recharge and do some inspiration collecting.  And play with my new iPad that Santa brought me (love it!).
I will be back, hopefully refreshed and reinspired in the New Year! As always, you can find me chatting away on Twitter in the meantime...

6 My Christmas Decorations 2010

So, first of all let me say please forgive me for these pics, they are horrible...but I wanted to show you my holiday decorations that I did this year.  I decided to go with a nature meets geometric/graphic theme.  I treated myself to a felt garland from West Elm and collected a perfect branch from the park by my house.  I made the mini terrarium ornaments with moss...I have wanted to do this forever, and I love them.  I'm going to try to get some better up close photos of them.  I mentioned before that I was inspired by these ornaments and you know I am obsessed with this image...and so I decorated some ceramic ornaments with a paint pen and came up with the trees and ornaments above.  And a little fishing line from my dad's vast collection...and voila!!

Anyway, I hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas!!
