0 Happy New Year!
So... I didn't really intend to take such a long break from the blog. Or even a break at all for that matter. It just kind of happened. I think I needed to just live in real life and kind of go with the flow for a while. I hope this new year will bring a new balance to my life and allow me to getting back to doing the things that I love and have brought me pleasure over the years as well as finding new sources of inspiration and happiness. I hope the new year brings great things to your life too!

0 Happy New Year!
I hope everyone had a wonderful New Years! I spent time with great friends in New Orleans and had a fantastic time. Gold sparkles, fireworks, sparklers, champagne, and dancing...all things that make me very happy!
I'm very exciting to get back to regular blogging. This week I'll be sharing spaces of some of my fellow bloggers that are constant sources of inspiration. I also have a giveaway or two in the works for the near future. I hope you enjoy!

6 Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas from {Black.White.Yellow.}!
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. I'm spending some time with my family before heading to New Orleans to see all my friends! Yay! Sorry for the unexpected absence, things have been a little crazy around here. I can't wait to get back to normal after the holidays. See you soon!

3 Holiday Break
You may have noticed things are a little slow around here lately. I am incredibly thankful for my new job and the opportunities that it presents, but that also means I have less time for the blog. I am hoping that I will be able to get back on track soon, as I have been balancing the blog and a full time architecture job for 3.5 years now. I just need a little time to adjust and regroup. So, I've decided to take a tiny break this week to recharge and do some inspiration collecting. And play with my new iPad that Santa brought me (love it!).
I will be back, hopefully refreshed and reinspired in the New Year! As always, you can find me chatting away on Twitter in the meantime...

6 My Christmas Decorations 2010
So, first of all let me say please forgive me for these pics, they are horrible...but I wanted to show you my holiday decorations that I did this year. I decided to go with a nature meets geometric/graphic theme. I treated myself to a felt garland from West Elm and collected a perfect branch from the park by my house. I made the mini terrarium ornaments with moss...I have wanted to do this forever, and I love them. I'm going to try to get some better up close photos of them. I mentioned before that I was inspired by these ornaments and you know I am obsessed with this image...and so I decorated some ceramic ornaments with a paint pen and came up with the trees and ornaments above. And a little fishing line from my dad's vast collection...and voila!!
Anyway, I hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas!!

2 More Sparklers!
I've always wanted to make photographs of letters with sparklers...on the 4th, we did! It was really fun, and if we would have known how easy it was, we would have gotten more sparklers! I'd like to experiment some more sometime soon.

0 Heart Pencil from PAPERSTORE
I know Valentine's Day is over, but I wanted to sneak this post in while I am not intoxicated at a parade somewhere in NOLA...{read: Mardi Gras is going well.}
I am kinda upset I didn't order any of these Heart Pencil Valentines from PAPERSTORE. I think they are pretty fantastic.
Via: Even*Cleveland {a blog that I don't talk about very often but I LOVE}
