6 My Christmas Decorations 2010

So, first of all let me say please forgive me for these pics, they are horrible...but I wanted to show you my holiday decorations that I did this year.  I decided to go with a nature meets geometric/graphic theme.  I treated myself to a felt garland from West Elm and collected a perfect branch from the park by my house.  I made the mini terrarium ornaments with moss...I have wanted to do this forever, and I love them.  I'm going to try to get some better up close photos of them.  I mentioned before that I was inspired by these ornaments and you know I am obsessed with this image...and so I decorated some ceramic ornaments with a paint pen and came up with the trees and ornaments above.  And a little fishing line from my dad's vast collection...and voila!!

Anyway, I hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas!!

This is one is for my girls...I love you guys.

You Make Me Feel Like Dancing from the always fantastic Castle.

I thought that I would be able to blog through this week, but this whole moving/leaving everyone process has been a little more challenging than I had prepared myself for.

Hopefully I can post again once I get to Palm Springs...

See you in Cali...

3 A Random Ode to Coffee via Etsy

I realize this is very random. I, Jessica, used to be addicted to Starbucks. I would stop everyday before work and occasionally in the afternoon. Sometimes I would supplement my addiction with nasty office coffee if I was unable to get to Starbucks. One of my unwritten resolutions for myself this year was to give up this addiction...and I have! I switched to tea in the mornings {which I've always loved anyway}. Every once in a while I stop at Starbucks for a treat. It makes me happy to think of the empty calories I am avoiding and the money I am saving.
This said, these items from Etsy with coffee themes are fantastic:
