Have you seen Lonny Magazine? It is like a glimmer of Domino is back! I stared at this page for quite a while...this is the kind of stuff I love to see.

4 Small Space Inspiration

Inspiration from Tori Mellott, the former Decor Editor of Domino Magazine, apartments {I've shown these before, but I am on the hunt for small space inspiration. My new apartment is 575 sq. ft. I am excited about the challenge of living in a smaller space, I just need a little inspiration.} PS., that third picture of the desk is one of my most favorite inspiration pics ever.

1 Inspiration Sunday...

Forgive me if I have posted these images before and for not having sources {Domino is a likely candidate for most of them.} I have been going through my inspiration files looking for things I might want to do in my new apartment.

{1} I love this room. Especially the rug. Also, I am contemplating adding tall bookshelves on each side of the tv to have a place to display all my books and prized possessions.

{2} I love the way this art is hung. And I happen to have a large collection of bulldog clips. This also reminds me that I really want to start drawing again.

{3} I always come back to this image. Although the chalkboard paint has been done all over the place, I really would like to incorporate it somewhere.

{4} I need that chaise. I also like the lamp and the art wall.

5 Art Hung on Bookshelves

I fell in love with that first image the moment I saw it in Domino. I find the idea of hanging art work on a bookcase intriguing. So, I was excited to see these other examples featured on Apartment Therapy. I think this is a great idea for a small space, and adds interesting texture to a room.

{BTW} I still get a little sad every time I see one of my favorite images from Domino, and remember how excited I was to look through each issue multiple times, finding fantastic inspiration.

4 Inspiration

Some random inspiration from Domino and Desire to Inspire. I hope you enjoy your weekend. I am in the middle of a three day all day all weekend seminar on Architectural Structures...whoo hoo! {that was sarcastic...in case you can't tell}

2 Domino Inspiration...

I have been a little absent here this week, I know. These are my excuses:

1. Work was nuts this week. One of my projects had a big deadline, and they started construction on the other. The emails/phone calls just won't stop.

2. The weather is bi-polar here right now and it is causing bad headaches.

3. I have been using my blogging time to frantically save images from Domino. Above are a few of my favorites.

4. It's Mardi Gras! Today (weather permitting...it is pouring outside right now) I am hosting a Mardi Gras/Valentine's Day party on the parade route. Pics to come hopefully...

0 Tweed / Linen Tile from Hastings

Speaking of great tile...If I could redo my kitchen, I would love to use this Melange Tile in Noir from Hastings Tile and Bath. {via Domino Magazine November Issue} I love that it looks like fabric, but has the durability of tile.
