As someone who likes a change of location, but hates leaving a home I've worked so hard on... I really love this concept:

An open international masterplan competition for the city of Åndalsnes. The competition entry proposes to use the old industry train tracks for a new kind of infrastructure carrying mobile buildings that can be rolled back and forth depending on seasons and situations.

1 Mardi Gras!

We had a completely fantastic trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras.  It really was such a soul refreshing trip.  I so enjoyed our time with our great friends in a city that I love so much.  We had a blast, especially walking in the Societe of St. Anne (we were the real housewives of mumbai!).  It's was hard to choose my  favorite images, be sure to check out my instagram to see more...

3 Palm Springs House...

I will be returning to the real world tonight, unfortunately...I would really like to just stay here indefinitely.  We've been staying in a 1963 Wexler Harrison home, which is really awesome.  The yard and pool are incredible.  We will definitely be staying here again (until my parent's buy us our own house here, hopefully in a couple of years).  I'll be happy to share the info on renting this house, just email me. 


Returning to the real world also means that it is time for me to officially move! So I will continue to apologize if things are a little light around here...but I will have new home adventures to follow along with soon!

3 I'm Off...

To VEGAS!!!


I'll be taking a little blogging break for the next few days to join by best friends from New Orleans in Vegas...I'm super excited.
 So in addition to my birthday, guess what else happened this week?  I hit 2,000 posts on the blog and 1,000 followers on Twitter! Crazy!  


This image is not of Vegas, but I've been meaning to post it.  I think it is AMAZING.  It's the crater lake of Maly Semyachik Volcano.  The azure blue coloring is caused by the acidic water.  Found thanks to The Vamoose.

1 Hotel Boca Chica

So since I made my big move to LA a few months ago and just started a new job, I wasn't able to take a vacation this holiday season.  I'm jonesing for a getaway, and have a few ideal (not necessarily realistic) vacation options to share with you.

I'm dreaming of a place like this: Hotel Boca Chica in Acapulco...how dreamy and fantastic does that look??
