I'm still here....um sorta. I am working on a huge proposal for the rebuilding of the libraries in New Orleans. {Read: awesome, but an unbelievable amount of work.} I'm having fun, but working ungodly hours. I hope to be back soon...

12 An Ode to Yellow Doors...

Please forgive me for my lack of posts lately. I have encountered a little shake up in my life this week that has left me quite sad. Unfortunately, this is going to impact my world for a while. I promise not to turn this blog into a sad rambling of emotions, but please bear with me while I adjust. The furniture and painting projects will have to be put on hold for now, but at least this gives me more time for finding great inspiration...

On a happier note, Coral of 8 South left a post with a link to this post on Remodelista which led me to all kinds of wonderful yellow doors on Flickr, including an entire group devoted to them. Please see my Flickr Fav's for credits for these great pics...

Side Note: If I were to rename this blog or open a new store I would call it The Yellow Door. See this pic. Apparently The Yellow Door is a jewelry and gift store in Brooklyn...fantastic choice of name.
