crap. both. I prefer the Hansen chairs, black pendant lamp and herringbone floors in the first photo but the artwork is kinda doctors-office-waiting-room and the shelves look way too cluttery for my taste.
Now in the second photo the shelving and artwork and white-painted floors are all awesome but those white chairs are tired and I hate the fluttery lighting fixture.

The first one..I like the sweet brown color of the wooden floor and chairs. Makes the room more cozy and welcoming
i like the contrast of the wood and white in the first space. they're both fantastic though, i'd take either one!

I agree with you. I prefer the first one because it seems more grounded. The white chairs in the second one seem to wash the whole photo out.
