I am thinking every morning I should feature a vintage yellow lamp...at least for a few days...because they make me happy.
I can't tell you how much I want this lamp...so much so that I almost didn't want to show you. I hope you understand.

i say buy the lamp. if you love it that much and its going to make you happy, get it. think of it as an investment. it sounds like you're in need of something around that will bring you instant joy.
as for what inspires me... music inspires me more than anything else. specifically music that moves me. i love it. i can't even describe it.

For me the best way to relax is to make something with my own hands. That's what makes me feel happy. Touchable results prove that I'm capable and not only wasting my time sitting around worrying about everything.

I totally agree with you about the lamp. I would love it, and it would make me happy. The problem is, for various reasons, I need to not be shopping, spending money, and acquiring new things right now.
I too love music...perhaps I will do a little ipod updating this weekend.
