I fell in love with that first image the moment I saw it in Domino. I find the idea of hanging art work on a bookcase intriguing. So, I was excited to see these other examples featured on Apartment Therapy. I think this is a great idea for a small space, and adds interesting texture to a room.
{BTW} I still get a little sad every time I see one of my favorite images from Domino, and remember how excited I was to look through each issue multiple times, finding fantastic inspiration.

I love this idea as well! I love bookshelves themselves, but to add art hanging from them makes them that much more interesting! Great post!
btw . . . . any tips on the best ways to hang a photo or piece of art from a bookshelf?
beautiful art makes my heart skip a beat.
It's true. Domino's closing left a void in many of us.
Bittersweet memories. That's all I'm taking with me. :)
Lindsey, good question. I don't know the answer- does anyone else?
I'll also ask this question at the post on AT...
