Palm Springs Suggestions?

The day after I get to LA, we are taking a trip to Palm Springs...which I am super psyched about.  This trip has been on my to do list for several years...

I'm looking for suggestions on things to do/see and place to shop while we were there.

I'll be following Domino's Destination Palm Springs Guide, Design*Sponge's City Guide , and Kelli's Guide to Palm Springs {Thanks Kelli!}...

Anything I should be sure not to miss?

    i think i'm the only native angelino to have never visited palm springs, so no help here. :( but have fun!!! enjoy the spas!

    Those are the two guides that I followed and they led me to some pretty lovely places!!!!!

    A little side note: you should definitely visit Trina Turk's boutique on North Palm Canyon Drive (the interior design was done by Kelly Wearstler)...it's quite lovely :) Lots of yellow too which is my favorite color!

    Grab a Palm Springs Modern Committee map ($5) and drive/walk around the old homes above the high street. King's Highway @ the Ace serves killer ceviche and The Riviera is a bit over the top but serves yummy lobster mac & cheese and has a pretty gorgeous spa and crazy hollywood 50s vibe.

    FUN! We had the BEST honeymoon ever in Palm Springs. Our favorite thing was riding beach cruiser bikes around neighborhood streets to get an up close view of the architecture.
