House + Repair Series | Drew Tyndell

Houses made from wood scraps? Yes, please.  Each of these make me happier than the last.  So many more in his portfolio.

Doesn't the last image remind you of yesterday's post?

Vegetal Design | Patrick Nadeau

Patrick Nadeau's Vegetal Design Planter would fit well in the H House, don't you think?

Check out some of his other cool work on his site.  I especially love his Meuble Jardin for Hermes...

H House | Hiroyuki Shinozaki

Y-shaped wooden columns support rooms and lofts at different levels inside this family house. "Although the whole house is just one space under big roof, it is divided loosely with Y-shaped frames and floorboards" - Hiroyuki Shinozaki.

Interesting concept. I love the front facade.

Office Inspiration | Suzanne Kasler Interiors

This is such a great space, what a great place to work.  It's a little more traditional than my taste, but I could envision some of the elements {like the slip covered chairs} switched out for danish modern pieces...perfection.

Speaking of Awesome Brass Lamps | Palm Springs Vintage Finds

Last month my mom and I spent a long weekend in Palm Springs to celebrate her birthday.  We had a great time doing some vintage shopping, and came across {and brought home a few!} really great things...

Those brass lamps were awesome.  So was the giant vintage danish desk they were styled with. They really would look great in so many rooms. I wanted that vintage constellation globe SO BADLY.  Sadly it was far more expensive than I could rationalize paying.  One day...

The styling of these vintage suitcases was so so good...

I mean both that chair and that stand mirror were ridiculously good...

My mom treated herself to that awesome vintage mid century Danish table/planter.  I can't wait to get all styled up in our house.

And finally, this swan doily. This might be my favorite thing I've ever found in a vintage store. Also this is probably the only time you will ever hear me say that I love a doily.  I didn't buy it, but I LOVED it.

Work Space | Lindsay Stetson Thompson

Lindsay Stetson Thompson's Work Space from the Spaces series on Eva Black Design {which I love, by the way}.  I adore the use of the curtain wires from Ikea for inspiration display, such a great idea. I've been working on an happiness/inspiration board for my desk this week. I might have to steal this...

Stripes | Kate Spade Saturday

So, somehow it's been a year.  And I still love {and continue to buy} black and white striped things from Kate Spade Saturday.  I guess not much has changed.

I don't really have any good excuses for why I stopped blogging for so long.  Work {often exhausting, I'm sure many of you can relate} mostly got in the way.  But also happy things, like being out exploring the world with dear friends.  I also think my Pinterest and Instagram accounts have filled in so well, I didn't miss blogging which honestly had started to feel like work too.

But lately I've realized that I do miss blogging, terribly. For all you who sent kind and encouraging comments and emails, thank you so much.  They meant more than you know.

And so here I am, hopefully for good again.
