That last white desk is great but there is no way I could ever work on one. I need to s-p-r-e-a-d out. That may also explain why my desk looks like crap and all of these are so nice and tidy.
Well, and it depends on what kind of work you do. I am an architect, so my desk at work is huge because I have so much stuff to spread out. But at home, where I blog and...um buy stuff on etsy, I just have a small desk with my laptop, printer/scanner, and a pen cup and it is plenty of room.
