Paul Smith's line for Maharam is my current obsession...The Bespoke fabrics are classic menswear pinstripes infused with colorful stripes...The Stripes fabrics take the colorful stripes to a whole new level and are a study of variegation...My samples arrived this week (read: art project to come). They are so beautiful... I'd love to have a couch covered in the Bespoke pattern...but I might settle (read: be able to afford one day) to redo the computer chair (a vintage mid-century chair currently covered in black vinyl that I found for free in the laundry room)...
I am equally obsessed with Paul Smith fabrics. The colors he uses are amazing next to each other. I want to cover a large ottoman for my living room with a Bespoke stripe and have that be the item that ties everything together. So it's okay to splurge when that's the main event, right? :)
